Linux is the best open source os which is open to all developers............since linux occupies only a low memory(boot),mostly users dont use it as primary one........I use Linux from my pendrive........SO whenever i want linux,i just boot from a pendrive/USB.It occupies only a few mb on the removable storage.
I will explain how to do it...
1.UNETBOOTIN
2.Pendrive
3.Windows os
4.LINUX DISTROS in iso
1.First download unetbootin from here
2.DOWNLOAD any linux distros
3.OPEN unetbootin
there will be two option:1.distribution,2.Disk image
choose the distribution if you want to download or choose the diskimage if you have the downloaded os file
4.Locate the disk image
5.Select the the usb drive
6.Click ok
NOW the os file with boot is installed on your pendrive and it asks for restart to check it........If you want to click reestart or ignore it
1.Switch on your pc
2.Plug in your pendrive
3.Choose boot from usb (OR enable the usb boot)
4.Now the os will be loaded
