HOW TO TAKE BACKUP

STEPS TO TAKE BACKUP

1.Login to your Blogger Account

2.Go to SETTINGS

3.Now Click OTHER under SETTINGS

4.In Blog Tools,click EXPORT BLOG

5.Now a popup appears,Click on DOWNLOAD BLOG

6.Now your Blog will be downloaded in .xml format with the date as name

HOW TO USE IT TO RESTORE YOUR BLOG

1.Go to SETIINGS>>OTHER

2.In blog tools,Click IMPORT BLOG

3.Now a popup appears like below

First select the Blog File that you have downloaded
 Then complete the captcha challenge(Enter the given letters)
 MAKE SURE YOU CHEK Automatically publish all imported posts.
 This will post your already published post

4.Now click IMPORT BLOG

5.DONE!!!

How It is Useful:

This feature is useful,if your blog gets deleted by Google,or you want to delete it temporarily.
Recently ALLTECHBUZZ blog was deleted by GOOGLE reporting as SPAM.But the admin had the Backup of this blog and he used it to restore but he migrated to WORDPRESS.
